“My prayer life is not what I want it to be.” No doubt we have all thought that at various points in our Christian lives. Prayer is one of the chief blessings we have as children of God. Indeed how can we grow our prayer lives and thus grow in our faith? The first thing we ought to do is to look into God’s word to study how the saints of Scripture prayed. How did Nehemiah pray? How did Hezekiah pray? Hannah? Our Lord himself?
